Candle Care
To get the most out of your candles, proper care is essential. Follow our simple tips to ensure a clean, even burn and extend the life of your favourite scents.
It may take a couple of goes lighting your wood wick candle. Ensure the while wick is alight before moving the lighter, this may take up to 10 seconds.
To prevent tunnelling and create a candle memory, the first time you light your coconut soy candle let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the glass. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Always trim the wick to approx 5mm before relighting. Trimming the wick will help your candle stay alight, burn evenly and longer. Trim by pinching the charcoal off the wick with a tissue or using a pair of wick trimmers. It's important to do this before each burn as the charcoal can cause the candle to go out.
Candles burn best in still air but if you can't avoid draughts, turn the candle periodically to avoid uneven burning and possible candle collapse. A candle in a draught may also start to smoke.
Candles are sensitive to temperature and light. Fragrances with a vanilla content may yellow if exposed to sunlight or fluorescent light, this is normal and does not affect the burning of the candle. Store your candles in an upright position.
It is always best to use a candle snuffer rather than blowing out to prevent wicks from drifting off centre and to avoid wax splash. This will help maximise the candles burn time.
If you get any black at the rim of your glass simply wipe it away with a damp cloth, this may be a sign that your wick is to long or your candle is being burning for longer than 4 hours.
Do not leave your candle unattended.Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours.Keep candles out of direct sunlight and away from hot temperatures.

Diffuser Care
Reed Diffusers are the perfect way to freshen up a living area without the need for a flame from a candle or electricity from an electric warmer. The natural fibre reeds continuously release a clean, pure fragrance throughout your living space. Simply turn the reeds over once a week to recharge and release a new wave of scent. Keep out of direct sunlight or hot areas to avoid the liquid from evaporating faster.
Place reed sticks in the oil and allow for them to soak the fragrance for one hour. After 1 hour, flip the reeds to saturate the other end of the reeds.
Flip reeds every time you notice the scent dissipating. Expect a light fragrance after 24 hours.
Ensure your Reed Diffuser is placed out of reach of children and pets, and is in an area where it will not be knocked over. Keep away from electrical appliances.
If spilt, clean the area immediately as the liquid may damage surfaces.
